From Dr. Bishop, DMD
I'm sometimes asked what I love about dentistry. What I love most about dentistry isn't just the smiles, or the capabilities dentistry offers to save them. It isn't just the moments when someone is relieved of pain or gets the smile they want. It isn't just when someone comments that we were gentle when working on their teeth, making their appointment more enjoyable. What I love most is offering a dental home to someone who is looking for a better dental experience.
There are a lot of people who talk about their fear of the dentist. My goal is to make your experience as comfortable as possible. If that means shorter visits, oral sedation, gentle treatment, or dental options that will last longer for you, or something else entirely, I want to make your visit fit what you need.
To make your experience that much better, I stay up to date. That means I use up-to-date tech and continue my training through education that will actually benefit you. During your visit you may hear of newer techniques or instruments that allow you more flexibility, comfort, and convenience. I want to open possibilities for you.
Finally, I want you to feel you belong here. A dental home is different from just a dental office. It means you are treated like family here. It means you can direct your own treatment and be heard when you have questions or ideas. It means respect, fun, and the best a dental home can offer. My commitment is to offer you a dental home where you can get the most up-to-date dental treatment in the most comfortable way possible.
I was raised in Utah where I found a deep love for family, the outdoors, and community. I am fluent in Spanish. I completed my college education and dental school in Utah at Roseman University of Health Sciences, then completed a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) through NYU Langone.
When I'm not at the dental office I'm with my wife and kids exploring parks, watching a movie, visiting friends and family, or checking out another part of the world.
